We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team in Geneva and ensure full compliance with Swiss and international banking regulations.

Main responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice to business lines and operational teams
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Swiss banking laws, FINMA regulations, and internal policies
• Support the AML program, including the review of complex cases and escalation
• Draft, review, and negotiate banking contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Prepare and oversee regulatory reports and communications with FINMA and other authorities
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, internal audits, and the implementation of control measures

Required skills

• Master in Law or equivalent legal qualification
• Experience in legal and compliance functions within a bank or a regulated financial institution is an asset
• Knowledge of Swiss banking law, FINMA requirements, AML regulations, and corporate governance standards
• Experience in managing regulatory audits and inspections is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and collaborate with management

Languages

Proficiency in English and French

Additional languages are a plus
