In this versatile function, you will combine hardware development, PLC programming, and functional safety into innovative automation solutions. Your tasks * Development of controls for level crossings from conception to approval * Definition and programming of system functionality in safety-oriented PLC software * Design of software architecture, interfaces, and diagnostic functions from specification to validation * Participation in hardware development from conception to system testing * Creation of safety proofs and product documentation as well as exchange with experts and approval authorities * Close cooperation with product management, purchasing, and production * Occasional customer visits domestically and abroad as well as on-call service in Switzerland Your profile * Completed studies in automation, systems, or electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field * Experience in PLC programming, ideally with safety-oriented controls * Experience in testing control systems from simulation to commissioning * Knowledge of PCB development (schematic/layout), CPLD or FPGA is an advantage * Understanding of functional safety (Fail-Safe, FMEDA); CENELEC knowledge is an advantage * Experience in control cabinet and plant electricals as well as EMC and environmental testing * Confident handling of laboratory measurement technology * Very good German and English skills; French is an advantage Work-Life Balance Outside of the core hours from - o'clock, we offer flexible working hours in which you can divide your time freely.
