Junior System Engineer (m/w/d)

To strengthen our team in Dübendorf, we are looking for a committed and technically savvy personality for the maintenance, further development, and technical support of our systems.

As a Junior System Engineer, you can expect a varied activity with a wide technical spectrum. You will work closely with our specialist departments and develop step by step into a specialist for our solutions.

Your main tasks

• Support of our competence center with technical questions regarding Linux, Windows, and other operating systems
• Operation, monitoring, and further development of our Microsoft Azure environment
• Support in the maintenance and further development of our internal IT infrastructure
• Analysis and rectification of technical problems in the interaction of software, hardware, and operating systems
• Collaboration in the specification, evaluation, and introduction of new products and technologies
• Carrying out tests as well as accompanying release and acceptance processes
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and instructions
• Support and training of our technical teams
• Collaboration in the automation and optimization of recurring tasks

Your profile

• Completed training as Informatiker EFZ, Betriebsinformatiker EFZ, Elektroniker EFZ, or comparable technical training
• Very good knowledge of Linux and Windows; experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Technical understanding of hardware and software as well as ideally initial contact with Embedded Systems
• Knowledge of Bash or another scripting language is an advantage
• Enthusiasm for IT, technology, and solving demanding technical problems as well as interest in new technologies and the willingness to familiarize yourself independently with new topics
• Structured, reliable, and independent way of working
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
