Das Schweizerische Arbeiterhilfswerk SAH Schaffhausen is an association that advocates for a socially, politically, and economically just society. Our numerous offerings support people in integration and on the path toward economic and social independence. Our subsidiary, SAH Services GmbH, operates the culinary integration projects essKultur and Mensah. In February 2027, we are launching our new pillar, Kammgarn Beiz, and are looking for a Head Chef who would like to participate in the setup process.

Your main tasks

• You help with the setup and operation of our work integration restaurant and take over the development of the kitchen area, including menu planning
• You take overall responsibility for smooth processes in the kitchen area
• You lead and develop the kitchen team and promote an appreciative and performance-oriented team culture
• You train and support the participants and learners according to work-agogic principles
• You take responsibility for optimal procurement and control of goods
• You are responsible for compliance with our quality, safety, and hygiene standards
• You maintain cooperation with other departments
• You actively contribute your ideas, participate in projects, and help with the development of internal operational concepts
• Compliance with the hygiene standards of the entire kitchen area including storage rooms
• Implementation of quality assurance according to concept and offer specifications

Your profile

• You have completed training as a Chef/Cook with several years of professional experience including leadership experience in the hospitality industry
• You possess the vocational trainer certificate (Berufsbildner*innen-Ausweis) or the willingness to attend the course
• You enjoy and have experience in imparting specialist knowledge and have understanding for people with reduced performance capacity
• You are creative, innovative, and market-oriented
• You have the ability to organize yourself and others and to react flexibly to new situations
• Sound knowledge in work-agogics is an advantage but can be acquired later
• You work independently, think entrepreneurially, enjoy taking responsibility, and communicate professionally

We offer a varied activity with a lot of creative freedom in a lively and dynamic environment. Working days are Tuesday to Saturday, evening shift, no curfew.
