In our pediatrics, everything revolves around the competent and personal care of our youngest patients - from the first day of life to adolescence. Our small, dedicated team works closely with obstetrics, the emergency department, and other specialist departments. Short distances, uncomplicated exchange, and a family-like cooperation characterize our everyday life. ###

• Care of newborns including primary care
• Care of children in the emergency department (surgical and pediatric)
• Care of our small and large patients on the ward
• Possibility of building up your own outpatient clinic
• Participation in shaping the expansion of care for children in the emergency department
• Shift operation between 7.30 to 22.30
• Organization of regular continuing education for assistant physicians in medicine, surgery, and gynecology

The Spitäler Schaffhausen include the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrische Dienste, the Praxen Radiologie und Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen as well as the Praxis Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum. With over 1'700 employees, we ensure the expanded medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. Additionally, we are an important training site in the canton.
