Manufacturing Engineer - Tooling (BKM)

You develop and design tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment for the manufacturing of turbines and generator rotors.

Tasks

• Design and construction of specialized tools, measuring equipment, and fixtures for turbines and rotors
• Ensuring the availability and timely delivery of all required operational equipment
• Definition and optimization of tool, measurement, and manufacturing concepts with production and design
• Development of machining strategies and calculation of cutting parameters
• Maintenance of TDM tool lists and associated master data
• Coordination of procurement including offers, cost comparisons, and technical drawing review
• Monitoring of process performance, tool consumption, and costs with initiation of corrective measures

Profile

• Technical training in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or industrial technology, ideally HF diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in the design of manufacturing tools, fixtures, and operational equipment
• Sound knowledge of machining processes, tool concepts, and measurement strategies
• Knowledge of SAP and TDM or comparable tool data management system
• Fluent German and good English skills in spoken and written form
• Experience with tool or fixture design for turbines, compressors, or other large rotating equipment is an advantage
