Thanks to many years of industry experience and a strong national and international partner network, our customer reliably accompanies its clients along the entire transport and customs clearance process.  To continuously expand the existing team, we are looking for a flexible, experienced and team-oriented personality as Customs Declarant Import & Export 50% - whether import, export or customs paper, you will keep the overview here. # Tasks: • Independent processing of import and export customs clearances using e-dec, ATLAS as well as NCTS or Passar • Ensuring timely and legally compliant customs clearance for national and international shipments of goods • Support of day-to-day operations from shipment recording through to notification and billing and dossier management • Competent contact person for customers and business partners regarding questions about customs clearance and logistics processes • Close cooperation with freight forwarders, transport partners as well as the responsible customs authorities • Participation in administrative tasks and active support of a smooth daily workflow • Holiday replacement in the Basel Weil border office and taking over the customs clearance orders occurring there • Participation in the continuous optimization of internal workflows and processes Your profile: • Completed commercial basic training, ideally supplemented by training as a customs declarant (e.g., Spedlogswiss) or comparable further training in the field of customs and foreign trade • Several years of professional experience in import and export customs clearance as well as in the independent processing of customs formalities • Sound knowledge of the common customs systems such as e-dec, ATLAS as well as NCTS or Passar • Confident handling of customs tariffs, origin of goods, customs procedures and the relevant legal regulations • Experience in the creation and processing of customs dossiers as well as in communication with customers, freight forwarders and customs authorities • Good German and English skills in spoken and written form; further language skills are an advantage  Anyone who values an uncomplicated working environment with short decision-making paths and a strong service mentality will find the ideal conditions here to take on responsibility and contribute long-term.   For further questions, Mr. Tobias Wagner is available by telephone.
