Manufacturing Engineer / Process Planning

The position involves technical support for production and engineering in the area of process planning for complex turbine components. The focus is on master data maintenance, process optimization, and cost comparisons.

Tasks

• Creation and maintenance of manufacturing bills of materials (mBOM) in the PLM system
• Definition of routing plans, work instructions, and manufacturing times for complex components
• Execution of cost comparisons and support with standard price updates
• Coordination of PLM changes to part definitions
• Maintenance of master data for tools, fixtures, and consumables in the ERP system
• Participation in initiatives to optimize safety, quality, delivery reliability, and costs
• Interface between design, purchasing, and manufacturing to solve technical problems

Profile

• Completed technical vocational training (EFZ or equivalent), e.g., polymechanic or designer
• Further education in a technical or business administration field (HF, technician, or Bachelor in mechanical engineering/industrial engineering)
• Experience with PLM systems, ideally Teamcenter or Enovia
• Practical experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP
• Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment, ideally in the Hot Gas Path area
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and quality documents
• Knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement methods
• German and English skills
