An experienced forging operator 100% (HF)

Your role
At the heart of our production tool, you contribute directly to the quality, pace, and performance of our productions.

Your responsibilities
Set up and ensure productions on our various hammers (Direct Drive and friction)
Drive the manufacturing rhythm and guarantee performance on high-volume productions
Master and adjust the forging process parameters (lubrication, billet temperature, and striking energy)
Control the quality of the forged parts, identify defects, and adapt production parameters accordingly
Optimize campaign changes by applying SMED principles
Diagnose problems related to tooling and ensure first-level maintenance of workstations
Ensure the restoration of the production station at the end of a series
Autonomously manage the consumables necessary for production, notably the preparation and control of greases
Ensure self-control, carry out production and quality monitoring records
Collaborate closely with other departments to guarantee the fluidity and performance of operations

Your profile
Proven experience in industrial forging (non-ferrous materials)
Excellent mastery of setting up and operating hammers (Direct Drive and/or friction)
Very good understanding of processes and striking conditions
Ability to read and analyze a forged part, identify defects, and provide the necessary corrections
Good knowledge of tooling and ability to perform technical diagnostics
Comfortable with common IT tools, notably Excel and Word
Autonomous, rigorous, and performance-oriented
Team spirit and excellent communication skills
