La Fondation Enfance Emma Couvreu has been actively committed since 1829 to the reception, protection, and support of minors in danger in their development. Our services are addressed to children and also to their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with values that we embody daily. Our activities are fully part of the child protection policy enacted by the State of Vaud. Driven by its commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 outpatient units, mobilizing more than 250 employees for this purpose.

La Maison d’enfants de Saint-Loup welcomes two groups of children aged from 1 day to 6 years benefiting from child protection measures. The latter are placed due to the relational and functional difficulties encountered by their families.

As part of a position renewal, we are looking for a social educator at 80%, for an indefinite term contract.

Job description

• Ensure, in collaboration with colleagues, the daily accompaniment of the group of children aged from 1 day to 6 years, benefiting from minor protection measures, in accordance with the defined educational project
• Collaborate closely with the parents and families of the children being welcomed
• Propose and organize activities conducive to the proper development of children
• Perform nursing and educational care
• Manage daily and administrative tasks

Your profile

• Hold one of the following diplomas, or a title deemed equivalent
• Social educator HES or ES
• Early childhood educator
• Ideally, benefit from experiences and continuing education in the field of childhood
• Proven ability to manage, animate, and contain groups of children having behavioral disorders
• Ability to work both alone with a group of children and to collaborate in a team
• Driver's license indispensable
