We are looking in the Bern / Seeland region for our client in a penal execution institution as of 01.09.2026 or by arrangement for an experienced, professionally competent and independent Dipl. Requirement profile ## • Education with tertiary degree (AKP, DNII, HF Nursing or Psychiatry) • Several years of professional experience in the acute sector (if possible in the area of emergency, internal medicine and/or psychiatry) • Great understanding of people from different cultural backgrounds who are in an extraordinary life situation • Professionally and life-experienced personality who can also keep calm, maintain an overview and set targeted priorities in hectic situations • Very good knowledge of German and French or English (spoken) • Great social competence and ability to work in a team • Distinct sense of closeness and distance • Good PC skills are a prerequisite Tasks ## • Care and treatment of somatically and/or mentally ill inmates from over forty nations • Initial assessments for medical questions, emergencies, crisis intervention and organizing somatic and psychiatric doctor rounds • Setting up and organizing necessary hospital admissions • Care and accompaniment of inpatient withdrawal from legal and illegal substances • Close cooperation with doctors, specialist centers and security personnel • Medical documentation and writing of reports General information ## Location: Region Bern / Seeland Region: Bern Employment level: 60% to 80% Employment type: Temporary Start: 01.09.2026
