Heavy vehicle driver

The employer is looking for a:

On-call mixer truck driver (noted profession)

Missions:

• carry out transports to construction sites with a mixer truck, ensuring safety, punctuality, customer satisfaction and cost efficiency, in compliance with quality and environmental standards
• check delivery notes after loading
• provide cleaning of the vehicle and the washing area
• perform small routine maintenance interventions on the vehicle
• support maintenance and plant care activities
• ensure the use of the vehicle, including cleaning and small maintenance
• guarantee compliance with Holcim directives and traffic regulations during deliveries at construction sites
• check the correct use of the assigned vehicle
• ensure the correct use of the vehicle, including cleaning and routine maintenance
• promptly transmit complete information regarding construction sites and traffic conditions
• guarantee punctual deliveries, in the required quality and quantity, ensuring full availability of the vehicle
• promptly report errors, anomalies and customer complaints
• perform further duties according to the directives of the manager
• perform any other tasks assigned by the superior based on operational needs

Requirements:

• completed basic vocational training
• driving license cat.CE (and any completed professional training)
• some years of professional experience in a similar function constitutes a preferential title
• technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• basic knowledge of RMX plants
• customer service orientation
• safety awareness
• basic knowledge of product application
• good knowledge of the territory of Canton Ticino
• eventual basic knowledge of maintenance
• good knowledge of the Italian language, both spoken and written
• reliable and autonomous working method
• team spirit and ability to work under pressure
• flexibility in traveling within the region
• adaptability
• high safety awareness
• initiative, resilience and autonomy
• analytical, systemic and problem-solving oriented thinking
• good communication skills
• planning and organizational skills
• orientation towards teamwork and promotion of collaboration
• driving license cat.B
