Head of Social Services

For the management of the Social Services department, we are looking for a responsible, versatile and professionally skilled person with high social competence. You will lead a dynamic team with six employees and one trainee. Your main tasks • Overall responsibility for the technical, organizational and personnel management of Social Services with the main areas of welfare, alimony assistance, asylum matters as well as society and health • Responsibility for budget, controlling and quality management • Ensuring efficient case management in social welfare • Further development of processes and standards • Preparation of rulings as well as meeting preparations of the social welfare authority • Social and financial consulting • Technical support and coaching of the team • Cooperation with authorities and institutions • Representation of Social Services internally and externally Your competencies • Several years of professional experience in social work, ideally in a management position • Completed degree in the social sector • Commercial vocational training as well as specialized further education in the social welfare law area • Pronounced social skills and solution-oriented way of working • Leadership skills, communication strength and decision-making pleasure • Enjoyment in dealing with people from all social classes • High sense of responsibility and organizational talent
