Electrical Engineer Standardization

You are responsible for the standardization of electrotechnical components and preferred ranges in mechanical and plant engineering. In doing so, you work closely with purchasing, production and other locations.

Tasks

• Definition and maintenance of a standardized preferred range for cables, lines, protective and switching devices as well as connectors
• Technical evaluation and selection of new components and suppliers considering standards
• Introduction of new components in cooperation with purchasing
• Reduction of variants and ensuring consistent engineering standards
• Creation and further development of work instructions, guidelines and best practices
• Identification and implementation of optimization potentials in costs, quality and efficiency

Profile

• Completed training in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in electrical planning, project planning or circuit diagram creation
• Experience in mechanical or plant engineering is an advantage
• Very good knowledge in the design of electrotechnical components
• Experience with complex technical interfaces and interdisciplinary project teams
• Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing
