The Verein LISA (Luzerner Verein für die Interessen der Sexarbeitenden) advocates for the improvement of the living and working conditions of sex workers.

For our counseling center, we are looking for, as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, a

Social Worker LISA Counseling Center (w/m/d, 60%) ##

Your tasks ###

• Partisan counseling sessions with sex workers
• Counseling with a focus on work and residence permits, self-employment, social security issues, housing situation and financial questions
• Counseling and triage in the area of sexual health
• Twice per month on-site work in the counseling container at the street prostitution area (evenings)
• Networking and cooperation within the LISA offerings
• Interdisciplinary exchange with external specialist centers and institutions
• Concept work and further development of the counseling offering in cooperation with the managing director
• Cooperation in the office and administrative tasks

Your profile ###

• University degree, Bachelor in Social Work or equivalent degree and several years of professional experience in a counseling context
• Very good knowledge of the German language (C1), foreign languages very desirable, intercultural competencies
• Solid knowledge in the areas of migration and residence law, social security law, tenancy law as well as budget and debt counseling
• Knowledge in the topic of sexual health desirable
• Experience in conducting conversations according to the principle of empowerment and solution- and resource-orientation
• Experience in dealing with vulnerable people in stressful and stigmatized life circumstances
• Empathic, open, flexible, responsible, resilient and steady personality
• Unbiased attitude towards sex work
• Good PC skills, flair for administrative tasks, independent way of working and organization as well as enjoyment of cooperation in a team
• Minimum age 30 years
