Become part of our great team and contribute as: Ship Captain Central Switzerland What awaits you * You carry out material transport with cargo ships reliably and on schedule * You ensure reliable operation of our plants and customers * You check delivery notes and ensure their correct transmission * You execute transport orders for other locations within the ZCH region * If required, you take over the relief in the ship loading plant -- from dispatching to receiving and checking, up to loading * You also look after and serve our customers in the industrial port during this process * You carry out material loading with hydraulic excavators and portal cranes * You ensure order and cleanliness and perform cleaning and tidying work * You support revision work on production plants and works * You work constructively and solution-oriented with the maintenance, production and quality management departments What you bring * You have a completed basic technical training * You possess a driving license Cat. C / ship captain's license for cargo ships * Further training in the field of processing technology is an advantage * You bring experience in gravel production or a comparable environment in the construction industry * You enjoy dealing with customers and have the corresponding experience * Knowledge in the field of rock extraction, such as earthworks, horticulture, gravel extraction or mineralogy, is an advantage * You have basic knowledge in the maintenance and servicing of construction machinery and equipment * Ideally, you also bring basic knowledge in processing technology and hydraulics * You have a strong interest in production and technology * Basic knowledge in control and regulation technology as well as pneumatics is an advantage * You are open to new technologies and have good IT user skills At Holcim (Schweiz) AG, we live a culture of diversity and inclusion.
