Automation Technician (m/f/d) ### Your Tasks ### • Ensuring the smooth operation of a technologically advanced machine park through maintenance, repair, and upkeep of manual, semi-automated, and fully automated systems in the areas of electrics, pneumatics, and mechanics • Increasing plant availability as well as improving efficiency and effectiveness through preventive maintenance and continuous optimization measures • Central contact person in escalation management (Second Level Support) for production at the Herisau location • Active participation in process improvements and technical projects with the possibility for professional further development • Participation in the training of automation technician apprentices as a practical instructor • Sub-project management in the manufacture of new systems in cooperation with apprentices Your Profile ### • Completed training as an automation technician, electromechanic, or electrical installer, ideally with further training as an industrial electrician according to Art. 13 or 15 • Several years of experience in the electrical maintenance of systems in an industrial environment • Sound knowledge in the application and programming of PLC and PC controls • Demonstrable experience in smaller automation and optimization projects as a sub-project manager (mandatory) • Proficient German language skills, English skills are an advantage • Enjoyment of innovation as well as willingness to actively participate in shaping process improvements • Flexibility as well as readiness for on-call duties We offer ### • Wide range of training and further education opportunities • Staff restaurant with varied menus at attractive conditions • Contribution to fitness and swimming subscriptions • Free parking spaces as well as charging stations for electric vehicles Would you like to become part of a modern and development-oriented company?
