You are also the escalation point for complaints, help in finding solutions and are responsible for communication. Requirement gathering and offer creation: As a Demand Manager, you record the requirements of the customers and are responsible for creating the solutions and offers together with our specialist teams, present these to the customers and conclude the agreement. Team player in transformation: Our team is responsible for the customer and service support of the cantonal IT service catalog provided by IT BS. To serve our customers better and faster, we are restructuring our organization. You support us in this transformation with your knowledge and competencies. Further development and digitalization: You support us with your expertise and the advising of customers in the further development of IT services and digitalization of intra-cantonal services, in order to advance the range of services for the population and companies of the canton. Your profile Experience: You have several years of sound experience in customer support and IT Service Management. You have accompanied customers from the recording of their requirements to the implementation of the required IT services, even in larger projects. Personality: Customer-oriented and service-oriented and networked thinking, independence, resilience and communication skills characterize you. You work and communicate without problems with both management and colleagues in the specialist teams. Education: You have a higher education in computer science, business informatics or business administration. A good understanding of business connections and the value creation of IT services completes your profile. Language: You communicate professionally and stylistically confident with a wide variety of customer groups. Very good oral and written German skills are mandatory, English skills are an advantage. Insight into our work IT BS is the internal IT service provider for the Canton of Basel-Stadt and belongs to the Finance Department. The department provides the collaboration and communication infrastructure for mobile and stationary IT workstations and the associated support. Additionally, IT BS also continuously develops various offers for the public in the field of eGovernment and digitalization. A functioning IT is central to the efficient operation of the cantonal administration. The Customer Strategy & Governance (KSG) department is the central contact point for the ordering, changing and optimizing of IT services. We identify customer needs, advise departments on suitable technological solutions and accompany requirements from the idea to the implementation. Through Account Management, Enterprise Architecture, Portfolio Management as well as Risk, Compliance & Records Management, we create transparency regarding needs, standards, resources, risks and the need for action. In this way, the KSG department supports customer-oriented solutions, operational architectures, economic control, and compliance with information security.
