In this versatile and demanding leadership function, you will take overall responsibility for the transport area. Together with your leadership team, you will ensure efficient, economical and customer-oriented processing of transport processes and continuously develop the workflows. Areas of responsibility * Overall responsibility for the operational processes in the Transport, Dispatching and Night Platform departments * Business management and ensuring of administration, controlling and invoicing * Leadership of three team leaders as well as around 130 employees * Optimal management in relation to resources such as personnel, vehicles and equipment * Leadership, support and implementation of projects * Recruitment, leadership, coaching, training and development of employees * Co-development and implementation of the corporate strategy in the transport area * Planning and project management during the integration of new customers * Enforcement and ensuring of compliance with various standards (ISO, FSSC etc.), guidelines and instructions Profile * Completed commercial, logistical or technical basic training, ideally in the transport industry * Further training in the field of business administration and/or leadership * Federal diploma as Operations Manager Transport and Logistics is an advantage * Several years of leadership experience in a comparable function * Sound industry knowledge in road transport * Technical understanding of commercial vehicles and their use * Very good German skills in spoken and written form * Very good IT user skills (MS Office) You possess strong interpersonal and communicative skills, are an empathetic doer with a structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as high service and team orientation.
