For an important international company based in the Lugano area, we are looking for a:

Senior IT Security Architect
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and IT architectures? Do you like to stay updated on new technologies, analyze business requirements and translate them into secure and effective solutions? Do you have an agile mindset, team spirit and a customer-oriented approach? Then this opportunity might be the right one for you.
The figure will become part of the IT Security Architecture & Operations team with the goal of ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT security requirements, defining architectural standards and guiding strategic technological decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain IT Security Architecture standards, frameworks and guidelines
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices (PCI-DSS, NIST CSF)
• Design and review IT systems, applications and infrastructures translating business requirements into secure technical solutions
• Apply security principles such as Zero Trust, Defense in Depth and Integrated Automated Detect & Response
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to define effective security strategies

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Security Architect or in senior roles in the security/architecture field
• Experience in risk assessment, threat modeling and security architecture review
• Excellent analytical, leadership and problem solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF
• Experience with PCI-DSS considered a plus
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF or equivalents constitute a preferential qualification
• Fluent English mandatory; Italian strongly preferred, German considered a plus
