Wädenswil is an attractive city on the left shore of Lake Zurich with well over 26'000 inhabitants. Around 380 employees work in the city administration, providing comprehensive services to the population daily. The Socioculture department is part of the Society Department of the city of Wädenswil. It pursues the goal that the residents can participate in social processes and lead an independent and self-responsible life. As of 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for an Employee Socioculture, Youth Department, 80 %. Your fields of activity include * Co-responsibility for the operation and design of the youth culture house SUST * Supervision of the information and contact point in the youth culture house SUST * Outreach social work in public spaces * professional relationship work with young people between 12 and 25 years * Coaching and support of youth groups * Rental of various rooms * Planning and implementation of low-threshold, sociocultural offerings and * projects * Networking and public relations * close cooperation with the team of the Socioculture department What you bring * completed training in Social Work (FH/HF) or comparable training * experience in Open Child and Youth Work * competencies in project work and methods of Sociocultural Animation * enjoyment in working with people of all age groups * independence, flexibility and teamwork skills * willingness for regular evening and weekend shifts, especially Friday and Saturday evenings We offer you a responsible and varied activity in a well-coordinated team as well as new sociocultural perspectives, which go far beyond the classic task areas of Open Youth Work.
