Maintenance district 5 in Wädenswil, with its 19 employees, is responsible for the operation and maintenance of around 120 km of state roads, approx. 110 km of cycle and footpaths, as well as approx. 225 km of hiking trails. Do you want to roll up your sleeves with us in road maintenance? We are looking for reinforcement for our team. Your tasks * You work closely with your team and ensure through your commitment that the population can use safe and attractive transport routes daily * You keep our state roads, cycle and footpaths as well as hiking trails functional, from greenery maintenance to cleaning, signaling and marking * You carry out minor structural repairs and general maintenance work * You work with different vehicles, equipment and modern machines * You assist in winter service and ensure safe transport routes even in snow and ice * You perform on-call service and are also deployed outside of regular working hours if necessary Your profile * Completed training as a specialist in facility management, road builder, mason, landscape gardener, or another construction-related vocational training * Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and especially during the winter months with shifted working hours and occasionally on weekends * Driver's license category B, ideally category C/CE (you can acquire the category C/CE driver's license with us if you do not already bring it) * You reach the Werkhof Neubüel in Wädenswil within 30 minutes What awaits you Working outdoors and in nature as well as a well-coordinated team that supports each other and actively passes on knowledge.
