Abalone Switzerland, active in personnel placement and recruitment in Romandie, is currently looking for one of its clients for a Painter - Firestop sealing & intumescent painting

Painter - Firestop sealing & intumescent painting (m/f)

Your main responsibilities:

• Execution of firestop sealing work around technical penetrations
• Implementation of firestop systems: mastic, mortar, foam, collars and other suitable solutions
• Application of intumescent paints on metal structures
• Preparation of substrates: cleaning, sanding, degreasing and surface preparation
• Application of products according to technical prescriptions and manufacturer data sheets
• Control of the thickness and quality of applications
• Compliance with approved systems and fire protection requirements
• Work according to plans, site instructions and safety standards
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment

Your profile ###

• Experience in industrial painting and fire protection
• Experience in firestop sealing and/or intumescent painting is a serious advantage
• Good knowledge of substrates and application techniques
• Precise, careful and methodical work
• Good physical condition and aptitude for working on construction sites
• Autonomy, reliability and sense of responsibility
• Team spirit and good communication
• Knowledge of safety requirements on Swiss construction sites
