As part of a carefully planned succession arrangement due to the retirement of the current job holder, we are looking for a committed, strong-willed, and integrative personality as Rector (m/f/d) As Rector, you bear the overall responsibility for the strategic, pedagogical, personnel, financial, and organizational leadership of the Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum Rorschach-Rheintal. In addition, in accordance with cantonal specifications, you will take on a small teaching load and thus remain close to the core business of the school. You lead the school management clearly, participatively, and in an orientation toward development; are responsible for the further development and implementation of the school strategy in the sense of the vision BZR30+ based on the cantonal vocational training strategy; strengthen teaching quality, school development, and the innovative strength of the BZR; shape a culture of trust, responsibility, commitment, and cooperation; represent the BZR credibly, networked, and convincingly both internally and externally; cultivate cooperation with training companies, professional associations, and partner institutions, as well as the Amt für Berufsbildung, the Berufsfachschulkommission, and other stakeholders; position the BZR as a high-performance, connected, and future-oriented cantonal competence center for vocational training.
