Metal Construction Fitter (m/f/d, 100%)

Since 1926, we have been an innovative and successful SME with today around 55 employees. We process flat glass and mirrors for the construction industry and combine glass and metal. Furthermore, we plan, produce, and install glass in interior areas (glass showers, doors, kitchen splashbacks, mirrors etc.) and exterior areas (balcony and patio glazing, glass railings as well as winter gardens) for private clients, architects, and planners.

To strengthen our team in the area of metal construction installation, we are looking for an independent, motivated, and proactive personality for a long-term collaboration, starting immediately or by agreement.

Metal Construction Fitter (m/f/d, 100%)

Tasks:

• You install wind protection, balcony and patio glazing, winter gardens, and louvered roofs
• You can well assess and adhere to the installation plans.
• You prepare the installation in good time (materials, installation tools, personal protective equipment etc.) and check the required materials for correctness.
• You report the performed work using an installation log sheet and record necessary information regarding the performed installation in writing.
• You maintain the installation vehicle as well as its machines and tools independently or together with the respective team colleague.
• Assistance with installations of other teams.
• You attend safety-relevant courses such as PSAgA, trailer test, aerial work platforms etc.

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training as Metalworker EFZ, Joiner EFZ, or Carpenter EFZ
• Some years of experience in the trained profession, ideally also in the area of glass/metal construction
• Good knowledge and some years of experience in the area of installation
• High quality awareness and efficient way of working
• Good independence and flexibility in work
• You possess a driving license Cat. B
