As an EMR Technician (electrical, measurement, and control technology) at Lonza AG, you are responsible for the planning and coordination of maintenance and repair activities in our Vibe-X production plant. Your tasks: Planning and coordination of maintenance and repair work on EMR instruments and systems (e.g., sensors, actuators, controllers, PLC); Error analysis and troubleshooting of complex automation and process control systems; Support during the commissioning of new plants and systems; Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, circuit diagrams, and maintenance plans; Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations (e.g., GMP, ISO); Close cooperation with production, engineering, and quality assurance to optimize processes and solve technical problems. Your profile: Completed training as an electrician, mechatronics technician, electronics technician for automation technology, or comparable qualification; Alternatively: Degree from a technical college (HF) or Bachelor (FH) in the field of electrical, automation, or systems technology; Professional experience in the field of electrical or automation technology in an industrial environment; Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or chemical industry is an advantage; Good knowledge of electrical engineering and experience in troubleshooting electrical systems; Experience with PLC systems (e.g., Siemens Simatic) and process control systems (PLS Emerson DeltaV) is an advantage; Proficient handling of technical drawings and circuit diagrams; Fluent German skills in speaking and writing; good English skills are an advantage; Strong analytical thinking and high problem-solving competence; High quality and safety awareness; Teamwork and communication skills.
