Software Architect Sensor Systems

You are responsible for the software architecture of complex sensor systems and provide technical leadership to the development team in a railway technology environment.

Tasks

• Responsibility for the software architecture of complex sensor systems
• Technical leadership and coaching of the development team
• Definition of architecture standards, interfaces and development specifications
• Execution of architecture, design and code reviews
• Support with technological decisions and risk reduction
• Collaboration with Product Owner, System Engineering and project management
• Evaluation of new technologies and further development of the software platform

Profile

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable
• Several years of experience as a Software Architect, Technical Lead or Senior Software Engineer
• Experience in developing complex software systems, architecture modeling and documentation
• Experience with Embedded Linux, Embedded Systems, Industrial IoT or Edge Computing
• Very good knowledge of C++, Python or Java
• Fluent German and English skills
