The cardiology department of KSA is the competence center for heart diseases in Aargau and an SIWF training center of category A (up to 3 years creditable). High quality of training in a collegial team.

Assistant Physician / Assistant Physician Cardiology

Your tasks

With us, you will receive structured and broad training in the entire field of cardiology. Guaranteed planned rotations:

• Outpatient clinic with a practical spectrum: echocardiography, Holter ECG, ergometry incl. spiroergometry,
• Echo laboratory for inpatient patients as well as PET imaging,
• cardiological outpatient rehabilitation,
• cardiac catheterization laboratory.

With good qualification and longer employment, further special rotations for 3 to 6 months:

• Electrophysiology incl. EPU laboratory and advanced pacemaker consultation,
• in-depth rotation in the cardiac catheterization laboratory with insight into structural interventions and complex PCI,
• Advanced Imaging incl. insight into cardiac MRI and in-depth imaging of echocardiography incl. TEE and stress echocardiography
• Intensive care unit,
• if applicable, insight into a medical practice.

You care for inpatient and outpatient patients under the supervision of our senior physicians and actively participate in reports, rounds, and our extensive training program according to the specifications of the SIWF.

Your profile

As a committed, communicative personality, you value collegial and constructive cooperation. You hold a Swiss medical diploma or a diploma recognized by MEBEKO and aim for the specialist title in cardiology. Clinical experience in General Internal Medicine of at least 2 years and 6 months of cardiology is desired. We offer you high-quality training with many training hours, modern working time models, and a friendly, collegial environment. The workload is 100%, part-time (80%) is possible.
