Your tasks ##

• Analysis, design and development of your own assortment area
• Negotiations with suppliers
• Responsibility for product development, optimization, and quality controls
• Coordination of purchasing activities and co-design of purchasing strategies at a national level as well as with the international purchasing organization
• Evaluation of key figures and initiation of coordinated measures
• Market observations and analyses to identify new trends and changes in customer purchasing behavior
• Interface management (suppliers, quality assurance, merchandise business, marketing)
• Quantity planning

Your profile ##

• Completed studies (Uni/FH), preferably with a business administration focus
• Min. 2 years of professional experience as a buyer in retail or the food industry
• Organizational and coordination talent as well as strong analytical and communicative skills
• Team player mentality, high resilience and commitment
• Assertiveness, independence and diligence
• Possession of a valid driving license category B
• Business fluent German skills (at least level C1)
• Good English skills; knowledge of another national language (French / Italian) is an advantage
