Specialist electrical systems (m/f/d)

Forchbahn AG is a locally anchored railway company and provides services that are indispensable for the Pfannenstiel region. Every fifteen minutes, we bring people safely from the countryside to the city of Zürich and back – day after day, almost around the clock. Join our team and ensure that the Forchbahn trains are ready for operation 365 days a year.

These are your tasks:

• Planning, maintenance and troubleshooting of the electrical systems
• Management of maintenance projects as well as cooperation and support in railway technology projects
• Participation in the processing of basic documents, concepts, specifications, etc.
• Maintenance of protective devices including staff training and monitoring
• On-call service and fault management in the event of failures and defects

What you bring with you:

• Completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Ideally training as an Elektrokontrolleur with a federal diploma (eidgenössischem Fachausweis)
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in the field of public transport
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing, other languages an advantage.
• On-call and standby duty
• High level of personal responsibility, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, resilience and performance orientation.
