Operational Manager for Steam Production and Utilities

As the operational manager for steam production and utilities, you assist the head of department in the daily conduct of activities. Acting as a true coordination point between production teams, support services, and partners, you contribute directly to the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of all facilities necessary for the production and distribution of steam and utilities of the Monthey industrial park.

Coordinate operational activities related to the production and distribution of steam and utilities, in compliance with safety and environmental protection requirements; Build and coordinate operational planning with production teams and support services to guarantee the continuity and reliability of the facilities; Monitor operational performance using relevant indicators, analyze deviations, and propose necessary actions; Prepare useful elements for decisions and facilitate arbitration by the head of department; Foster collaboration between teams and ensure the smooth flow of information between the various stakeholders; Identify operational skill needs and contribute, with the head of department and the team leader, to the maintenance and development of the know-how necessary for operations; Ensure the availability and updating of operational documentation; Coordinate operational interfaces with internal and external partners; Drive continuous improvement plans and coordinate the implementation of corrective measures in case of deviation; Ensure, when necessary, the continuity of operational coordination in the absence of the head of department, within the framework of defined delegations; From an engineering degree (EPF or HES) or training deemed equivalent; From confirmed experience in an industrial environment in the field of energy production or utilities; From a personality open to change and innovation, capable of taking initiative and adapting to an evolving context; From qualities to communicate and negotiate with our different partners; From a capacity to overcome operational challenges, being action, results, and continuous improvement oriented; From an aptitude to organize resources, prioritize, and decide pragmatically; From a faculty to create a climate of trust, cooperation, and respect for diversity; From a capacity to provide meaning, to unite around a collective project, and to mobilize teams; A strong corporate culture, based on collaboration, trust, and respect; A cutting-edge technological environment, within an SME anchored in the regional economic fabric; Real opportunities for professional development, with continuous training as a strategic pillar; Attractive conditions, including advantageous social benefits and flexibility favoring work-life balance
