We are looking for a female or male doctor with the goal of acquiring the federal advanced training title as a specialist in nuclear medicine. The position is suitable both for candidates with prior experience in nuclear medicine and for persons who wish to enter the field for the first time. Supervision is ensured by the experienced senior physicians of the department. The position offers you: direct and step-by-step access to the entire spectrum of diagnostic examinations; active participation in the therapy and theranostics program; participation in internal and external multidisciplinary case discussions and tumor boards; involvement in existing advanced training networks; structured supervision according to the requirements of the SIWF advanced training program. The Department of Nuclear Medicine of the Clinique de Genolier is recognized as an SIWF training site of category B for an advanced training duration of a maximum of two years. Our center is located in the Genolier Innovation Hub in the heart of the Campus Genolier, in the immediate vicinity of the departments for Radio-Oncology and Radiology. It is one of two European GE HealthCare Centers of Excellence for molecular imaging and theranostics as well as a founding member of the international network of GE HealthCare Innovation Centers. The center works actively with several Swiss and regional hospitals and institutions, including the Universitätsspitäler Genf, the Luzerner Kantonsspital, the Spitäler Nyon and Morges, the Centre Hospitalier Alpes Léman as well as the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon. We have an active research program in the areas of advanced imaging, artificial intelligence and clinical studies. In addition, we supervise students from technical universities as well as experienced researchers. In the coming months, the first commercially used OMNI-Total-Body-PET system with an axial coverage of 128 cm, the world's first commercial upgrade of a StarGuide system to the GX-Dual-Sided configuration, and a theranostics unit with radiation-shielded patient rooms will be put into operation. The center offers the entire spectrum of diagnostic examinations for adult patients, particularly in the areas of oncology, PET cardiology and neurology. Furthermore, we perform all conventional nuclear medicine examinations as well as comprehensive multimodal imaging protocols including diagnostic CT examinations. You will become part of a team of five senior physicians. Two of them have a university connection: one person at the Universitätsspitäler Genf and another as head of the theranostics unit of the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon. Your advanced training also takes place under the supervision of specialist physicians with two federal specialist titles, particularly in nuclear medicine and radiology or in nuclear medicine and cardiology.
