Mechanic (3-shift) m/f/d 100%

In this versatile position, you are responsible for the professional maintenance of our cigarette production lines and independently perform necessary maintenance and repair work.

Your main tasks

• Ensuring smooth operation of the assigned production equipment
• Leading the respective machine group while complying with the specified goals
• Responsible for compliance with production management and quality specifications
• Execution of maintenance, service, and repair work including preventive maintenance work
• Assistance with projects in the machine hall as well as in the development of solution proposals to improve machine performance
• Co-responsible for training and supporting employees at the equipment

Your qualification and professional experience

• Completed vocational training as a mechanic (polytechnic, machine, auto, or agricultural machinery mechanic) or automation technician
• Professional experience in the field of production technology and/or facility maintenance
• Experience in the field of process control and automation, knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is an advantage
• Good German skills in speaking and writing, oral English skills are an advantage
• Readiness to work in shift operations is required (rotating early shift from 5.30-14.00, late shift from 14.00-22.30 as well as night shift from 22.30-5.30)
