In this versatile function, you are responsible for strategic procurement projects, further develop international supplier partnerships, and drive cost, quality, and process optimizations. With your commitment and expertise, you strengthen the performance of our Supply Chain and create sustainable added value for the HESS Group. Your tasks * Technical responsibility for the assigned product groups * Independent management and implementation of procurement and supply chain projects * Planning and realization of the relocation of procurement sources to Western Europe * Strategic negotiations with existing and new key suppliers * Preparation, negotiation, and implementation of supplier contracts with a focus on strategic and bottleneck suppliers * Conduct of supplier audits as well as accompaniment of First Article Inspections (FAI) * Active involvement of suppliers in product development and project processes (Early Supplier Involvement) * Conception and implementation of cost optimization and quality increase measures * Close cross-departmental cooperation with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Production, and internal procurement Our requirements * Completed technical or commercial training with further training in the area of Purchasing or Supply Chain Management * Sound knowledge in supply chain management and project management * Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing and international sourcing * Demonstrable negotiation success with strategically relevant suppliers * Resilient, communicative, solution-oriented, and implementation-strong personality * Willingness to travel within Europe, travel activity > 40% * Assertiveness, negotiation skills, and intercultural competence * German and English business fluent, ideally Portuguese We offer you * Responsible activity in an exciting and innovative environment * Interesting and challenging area of responsibility in a versatile company * Great opportunities for design and much personal responsibility * Say in the entire group * Modern compensation and working model * Long-term perspectives If you feel addressed, send us your complete application documents including a cover letter via link (Apply now).
