Are you interested in tax law, do you have a flair for numbers, and are you IT-savvy? Do you enjoy working independently, carefully, and reliably? Would you like to work at a cantonal court? Then you might soon complement our team.

Your tasks

• Independently drafting single-judge orders and letters
• Creating statistics and evaluations for the presidium
• Carrying out general secretarial work
• Recording incoming cases and archiving completed cases
• Supporting employees as a superuser with problems involving internal applications
• Representation of the administrative secretariat in IT projects

Your profile

• Commercial training and ideally several years of experience in the field of law/notary or the judiciary, public administration
• Flawless German skills and good French skills (spoken and written)
• Independent, efficient, and service-oriented way of working
• Open, communicative, and team-oriented personality with IT affinity

About the Steuerrekurskommission

We are the court of first instance for tax matters of the Canton of Bern and primarily judge appeals in the area of direct taxes. Our team consists of 2 full-time judges, 7 court clerks, 1 book expert, and 3 employees of the administrative secretariat. Our premises are located in the city of Bern at Nordring 8 and are easily accessible by public transport.
