Senior Energy Trading Performance Analyst (all) # Your field of action • In this role, you analyze and evaluate the performance of our trading activities and provide solid decision-making bases for trading • You analyze structured energy trading operations, commodity derivatives, and flexibility products, and represent them consistently throughout the trading and risk management processes • Through P&L analyses as well as the validation and commentary of valuation effects and market movements, you ensure transparency and understanding • You identify revenue and risk drivers, challenge trading performance using market analyses and key indicators, and derive valuable insights • As an interface between trading, risk management, reporting, and systems, you work transversally and continuously develop methods and processes Your expertise • Degree or training in a quantitative or financial mathematical field (e.g., mathematics, physics, economics, or finance) • Several years of experience in energy trading, risk management, structuring, or middle office allow you to handle complex issues with confidence • You possess deep knowledge in the valuation of commodity derivatives and complex energy trading operations as well as experience in representing trading operations in ETRM systems • Programming skills in Python, VBA, or SQL help you to work in a data-driven manner and optimize processes • A very good level of English and a good level of German allow you to communicate clearly in an international environment We do not wish to receive applications from recruitment agencies.
