• Stadt Zürich / Zürichsee Workload: 80-100% Employment: Permanent position Work location: Region Zürichsee Languages: German fluent, English   Project Manager - Technical Projects & Operations (80-100%) About the position To strengthen the team, we are looking for an entrepreneurially minded, technically savvy, and solution-oriented personality as a Project Manager. In this versatile role, you will take holistic responsibility for technical and operational projects - from the initial planning and concept phase through to implementation and successful commissioning or handover. In doing so, you will operate at the interface between internal teams, customers, suppliers, production, technology, and external partners. You understand how to capture requirements, assess them technically and economically, and develop pragmatic, high-quality, and implementable solutions from them. Your tasks • Holistic management and coordination of technical and operational projects • Planning and implementation of new, renovation, and optimization projects • Capturing, analyzing, and clarifying requirements with internal and external contact persons • Development and assessment of technical solutions regarding feasibility, costs, quality, and deadlines • Coordination of internal departments as well as external service providers, suppliers, and production partners • Obtaining, comparing, and negotiating offers • Creation and preparation of calculations, offers, project budgets, and decision bases • Monitoring of costs, deadlines, quality, and project progress • Ensuring smooth implementation and operational readiness • Accompanying projects from the idea to realization and aftercare • Active communication with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders • Leading negotiations and independent solution of technical, commercial, and organizational challenges • Identification of optimization and development opportunities • Participation in the further development of processes, structures, and future projects   Your profile • Technical or manual basic training, ideally supplemented by further training in project management • Several years of experience in technical project management, project coordination, production, infrastructure, or a comparable environment • Strong technical understanding of materials, construction, manufacturing, systems, or technical implementations • Experience in working with suppliers, service providers, and external partners • Good knowledge of cost, deadline, and quality management • Entrepreneurial thinking and strong cost awareness • Negotiation skills and enjoyment of direct exchange with customers and business partners • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working • High level of personal responsibility as well as a strong hands-on mentality • Organizational talent and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Flexibility, resilience, and enjoyment of a dynamic environment • Willingness to travel within Switzerland as well as driving license category B • Very good German skills; good English skills are an advantage Personality You enjoy taking on responsibility and actively driving projects forward in a pragmatic manner. At the same time, you understand the economic connections and do not lose either the overview or the eye for detail even with complex tasks. You can communicate technical requirements in an understandable way, bring different interests together, and also act in a binding, solution-oriented, and strong negotiating manner in demanding situations.
