• possesses a completed and EDK-recognized training in speech and language therapy

Your tasks are

• assessment, counseling and therapy of children and adolescents with linguistic abnormalities
• therapy and case management within the framework of integrative special education
• counseling of parents, teachers and specialists
• development and implementation of prevention projects and group offers
• participation in working groups for the further development of the speech and language therapy service
• interdisciplinary collaboration with the other specialist areas of school support, with teachers and specialists as well as with various specialist agencies
• public relations

The Speech and Language Therapy Service of the city of Luzern is a specialist area of school support. The team consists of 13 speech and language therapists, who are responsible for preschool children and learners of the Volksschule with language, speech and voice disorders.
