Technical Assistant Workshops and Living Lab

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Assistant Workshops and Living Lab (m/f/d | 100%) as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement. Your tasks * Ensuring the smooth operation of our workshops and the machine park * Operation, care, and maintenance of machines, tools, and technical facilities * Carrying out minor maintenance and repair work as well as coordinating external service work * Practical support for customer and internal projects, especially in manufacturing, prototyping, and custom productions * Carrying out basic CAD work and preparing data for manufacturing * Supporting the setup, reconfiguration, and dismantling of simulations, experimental setups, workshops, and demonstrations in the Living Lab * Construction, operation, configuration, and operation of technical systems such as Real-Time Locating System (RTLS), projection surfaces, eye-tracking, motion capture, and audio facilities * Ensuring the operational readiness of technical devices and systems * Error analysis and rectification of technical disturbances during operation * Organization and management of tools, consumables, simulation materials, and inventory * Documentation of machines, technical setups, and recurring processes * Support and instruction of employees in the use of machines and technical systems * Flexible technical and manual collaboration across various areas and technologies. Your profile * Completed manual or technical vocational training or a comparable qualification * Practical experience in a technical, manual, or workshop-related environment * Good technical understanding and enjoyment of practical work * Strong hands-on mentality as well as an independent and solution-oriented way of working * Experience in handling machines, tools, and technical facilities * Basic knowledge of CAD and/or digital manufacturing is an advantage * Basic knowledge of IT and networking is an advantage * Willingness and interest to familiarize yourself with new technologies and systems * Flexible, versatile personality with enjoyment of different tasks * Sense of responsibility, reliability, and a structured way of working * Very good German skills, French skills are an advantage, as well as confident handling of Microsoft 365 and digital work tools are required.
