For our headquarters in Aarau, we are looking for a committed leadership personality as Asset Related Contracts Manager (80-100%) - 1627 Securing electricity in Switzerland Law, negotiation, leadership, and infrastructure - combine these themes in a key role for the Swiss transmission grid. As Asset Related Contracts Manager, you are responsible for a wide portfolio of contracts around the Swiss transmission grid and lead a team of ten employees. As an important central point between internal and external partners, you link legal, technical, and economic issues. You develop contractual solutions, conduct demanding negotiations, manage complex subjects, and ensure that different interests find viable solutions. You create the legal and contractual foundations that allow the transmission grid to be operated, extended, and developed. The energy system is changing fundamentally. Through your work, you contribute directly to the integration of new power plants, storage, and consumers, as well as to the security of supply in Switzerland. In this role, you can shape, assume responsibility, and develop sustainable solutions with various specialist disciplines. Your tasks • You are responsible for the management of easements and land as well as installation and grid connection contracts, including risk reporting • You manage the securing of routes on a national scale, represent the interests of Swissgrid during construction projects near lines, and develop these subjects strategically • You lead complex legal cases in easement management and route securing and coordinate the necessary internal and external partners • You strategically develop the grid connection process and associated contracts • You negotiate and develop asset-related contracts by bringing together legal, technical, and economic requirements • As a member of the management team, you actively contribute to the strategic development of the Grid Strategy department What makes the difference You are a communicative, thoughtful, and solution-oriented personality who enjoys taking on responsibility and maintaining an overview even in complex matters. You bring the following: • Completed law studies (master's or equivalent degree) and very good knowledge of Swiss law • Experience in contract management, contract negotiation, or supporting complex infrastructure or transformation projects • Leadership experience or proven experience in the technical management of teams, projects, or interdisciplinary working groups • Enjoyment in collaborating with specialists in law, technology, operations, and economics, as well as the ability to moderate different interest groups • Goal-oriented, pragmatic, and careful working method as well as very good written expression • Fluent command of German or French, good knowledge of the other language, as well as good knowledge of English We introduce ourselves We are the Asset Related Contracts team and are responsible for the asset-related contracts of Swissgrid throughout Switzerland.
