For our client, a successful service company based in Zürich-Oerlikon, we are looking for an entrepreneurially minded and strong leadership personality as Head of Accounting & Finance.
In this demanding function, you will actively help shape the financial basis of the corporate group. You combine operational excellence in accounting with a modern understanding of finance and take on a central role at the interface between the finance organization, management, and operational units. In doing so, you create transparency, further develop structures, and ensure that financial information is available where it is needed for good decisions.

Your tasks

• You bear the overall responsibility for Accounting & Finance of the group and lead a team of 8 directly subordinate employees
• From general and subsidiary ledgers to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to consolidation, you are responsible for quality, punctuality, and uniform standards
• You are responsible for financial reporting and continuously develop reporting structures, accounting policies, and finance standards
• You are responsible for the ICS (Internal Control System) in the finance area, further develop risk management together with the relevant specialist departments, and coordinate internal as well as external audits
• You are responsible for tax issues, treasury, and liquidity planning and maintain cooperation with tax advisors, authorities, banks, and other partners
• You drive the standardization, digitalization, and automation of financial processes and take on professional responsibility for relevant ERP and reporting projects
• With analyses, key figures, and clear recommendations for action, you support the CFO, management, and operations managers in financial and entrepreneurial decisions

Your profile

• You bring a higher business administration education as well as further training as an eidg. dipl. Experte/in für Rechnungslegung und Controlling, Wirtschaftsprüfer/in, Treuhandexperte/in or a comparable qualification
• Several years of leadership experience in a comparable finance function
• Sound knowledge of OR and Swiss tax law; experience with Swiss GAAP FER and/or IFRS is an advantage
• Practical knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP or MS Dynamics
• Strong leadership and change management competence as well as a strong entrepreneurial understanding
• Analytical and conceptual thinking paired with pragmatic implementation strength
• Confident appearance, high social competence, and the ability to engage different stakeholders at eye level
• Fluent German and English skills; any additional language is a plus
