Catering Staff (approximately 18 - 20 %) - Betreuung St. Karli

Would you like to contribute your experience in the field of catering at the St. Karli primary school? Support our team four to five days a week with the preparation of the dining areas, the distribution of meals, as well as any necessary cleaning work -- and contribute together with us to the well-being of children and adults.

Your tasks

• Together with the childcare team, you prepare the dining area for the children and ensure an inviting atmosphere during lunchtime.
• You set up the meals in the bain-maries and accompany the meal service for up to 30 children from the 3rd to 6th grade. In doing so, you contribute to a pleasant and appreciative dining culture.
• You support the children during lunchtime and are a friendly, reliable contact person in the dining area.
• You independently take over necessary domestic tasks in the kitchen and dining area. After eating, you clean tables, chairs, work surfaces, as well as the premises and ensure the professional cleaning of the bain-maries.
• You ensure compliance with the cantonal hygiene guidelines as well as the hygiene concept of the Volksschule Stadt Luzern and work responsibly according to the applicable standards.
• You work mainly during school weeks, an average of 9 hours per week, each from 11.30 to approx. 14.30. Your working days would be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

• Ideally, you bring practical experience in the kitchen or domestic field or enjoy learning to work in this field.
• You enjoy fresh meals, a well-maintained environment, and contact with children of primary school age.
• Order, cleanliness, and hygiene are a matter of course for you and you work reliably and carefully.

• You work in a structured, independent manner and maintain an overview even in lively situations.
