Specialist Engineer Primary Technology

Tasks & Responsibilities: Responsible for the specialist areas of air- and gas-insulated switchgear, switches, disconnectors, surge arresters, cables, and plant construction Detailed engineering, specifications, and procurement of primary components Preparation of ESTI submissions including procedural support The technical project management of high-voltage switchgear and grid systems Monitoring and controlling of quality, schedules, and costs Profile & Requirements: Completed studies ETH / FH / University (specialization in electrical engineering) or equivalent knowledge and skills At least 3 years of planning experience of GIS and AIS systems in HV technology Several years of professional and industry experience in the field of power transmission and distribution, specifically in the engineering of switchgear and substations Knowledge of the operational requirements for the operation of a switchgear as well as knowledge of the applicable legal and regulatory provisions in the specialist field (ESTI & Starkstromverordnung) German language skills Minimum Level B2 About the team You will become part of an experienced and collegial team that supports each other and shares its knowledge.
