• Integrate the people concerned into city life by highlighting their skills and resources, while respecting their rights and duties.
• Develop personalized socio-educational support projects, ensure their follow-up and mobilize team members in their daily implementation.
• Assume the delegated tasks of a reference person for one or more people concerned and maintain regular contact with their network (legal representatives, relatives, attending physician...).
• Align educational action with the principles stated in the institutional policy "Intégration et Accompagnement".
• Maintain positive contacts with the people concerned that meet the socio-educational values of the EPI.
• Accompany people in their daily lives and provide them with support adapted to their needs and resources.
• Design, implement, and evaluate socio-educational activities, alone and/or in a multidisciplinary team.
• Facilitate socialization, cultural, leisure, and/or work activities.
• Know how to react appropriately to difficult and/or complex situations.
• Ensure direct functional contacts and relationships with all sectors and different external partners.
• Accomplish the administrative tasks inherent to the position.
• A Swiss diploma in Social Work (HES level), in Educational Sciences with a major in Special Education or deemed equivalent.
• Knowledge of psychic and/or mental disability and/or alcoholology as well as the desire to develop knowledge in these areas.
• Previous experience in a similar position and with this type of population is an asset.
• To demonstrate a spirit of service towards populations in situations of vulnerability.
• To demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility oriented towards service to users and openness of mind.
• To possess developed interpersonal skills, ease in communication, and a pronounced taste for teamwork.
• To have scheduling flexibility.
• To master standard office tools (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and specific professional tools available within the establishments.
• To master the French language.

The Etablissements publics pour l’intégration (EPI) have the mission to contribute to the well-being and social and/or professional integration of people in situations of disability or difficulty in professional and/or social integration. More than 900 people are accompanied, in very varied contexts.

Within the EPI, the Socio-educational Services are responsible for accompanying people in situations of disability with intellectual developmental disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders and/or psychic disorders by offering them individualized occupational and developmental activities or home support.

The Reinforcement Pool C primarily welcomes people in situations of severe mental disability and multiple disabilities, presenting autism spectrum disorders.
