Network Protection Engineer (all)

Your tasks • You design the network protection for extra-high, high, and medium voltage networks, taking into account relevant laws, standards, and technical specifications • For our projects, you create overarching as well as project-specific protection concepts, specifications, and functional specifications • You perform short-circuit and load flow calculations, determine the setting values for protection systems, and create device configurations • You lead renewal projects in the protection area and are responsible for planning, interface clarification, hardware and software engineering of protection and control • Factory acceptance tests, functional tests, and the technical supervision of protection commissioning are also part of your area of responsibility • As a specialist with broad, sound expertise, you analyze and document network events, advise customers, and support the acquisition of new orders What you bring with you • You have a completed degree (FH/ETH) in electrical/automation engineering • Knowledge of high-voltage installations and experience with digital protection and control technology systems • You process complex technical issues independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, while keeping quality and economic goals in view • In exchange with internal and external contact persons, you explain technical contexts understandably and align solutions with the needs of the customers • As a communicative personality, you speak fluent German and do not shy away from also conversing in French We do not wish to receive inquiries from personnel service providers.
