For our youth work team, we are looking for a

Youth Worker 50% ##

as of 1. February 2027 or by arrangement.

Your task ###

You actively help shape the youth work in Münchenstein and develop it further together with the team. Our three areas - meeting place operations, outreach youth work and project work - form equal pillars in this process.

You are close to the living world of young people, build relationships and create spaces in which they can get involved, try things out and take on responsibility. Whether in the youth center, on the playground or in public spaces: You approach young people, take their concerns seriously and support them in implementing their own ideas and projects.

Together with your team, you particularly promote independence, participation, communication, initiative and self-organization. In doing so, you strengthen young people in recognizing their own resources and taking responsibility for their actions.

What you bring with you ###

You have a degree in Social Work, Socio-cultural Animation or a comparable training and ideally professional experience in youth work.

You are an open, dynamic and positive personality who:

• shows genuine interest in the living world of young people,
• enjoys building relationships and providing reliable support,
• is capable of conflict, flexible and resilient,
• works independently and enjoys contributing to the team,
• enjoys contributing and implementing own ideas,
• and brings a good dose of humor.

You are prepared for irregular working hours and agreed weekend shifts. A driving license of category B is an advantage.
