Office des travaux publics des Grisons, district 2 Mesocco | 80-100 % | Mesocco ##

The Office des travaux publics is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of cantonal roads as well as hydraulic structures and soft mobility in Graubünden. We also take care of the operational maintenance of national roads within the cantonal territory. The road infrastructure of the canton includes more than 1-450 engineering structures, including suspension bridges up to 90 meters in height and tunnels up to 3 kilometers in length. The challenges presented by the nature of our mountainous canton in both summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. We are looking for the road maintenance department in district 2 Mesocco starting from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement for an operations manager

Your area of responsibility

• Technical and personnel management of the operational maintenance team
• Planning and execution of the operational maintenance of cantonal and national roads
• Planning the interventions of the four maintenance groups consisting of approximately 30 employees, vehicles, and equipment in collaboration with your four direct team leaders
• Supporting the construction department with site management tasks for the structural maintenance of cantonal roads
• Ensuring the standby service as an intervention manager

What we expect from you

• Diploma of site manager or works manager
• Several years of experience in the fields of construction or road maintenance
• Management experience and entrepreneurial spirit
• Assertiveness and personal initiative
• High degree of autonomy and sense of responsibility
• Good user IT knowledge
• The general working language is Italian, good knowledge of German is required
