Plant Layout Designer / Design Engineer Plant Engineering (m/f/d) 100 %

For an established and technologically advanced industrial company in the Basel-Landschaft region, we are looking for a technically skilled personality in the field of plant layout and design. In this versatile role, you will plan and design customer-specific plant solutions and work closely with various technical departments. You can expect a responsible task with a high degree of independence and varied projects in industrial plant engineering.

Tasks

• Creation of order layouts and coordination plans with AutoCAD
• Development of technical plant layouts taking into account functionality, performance and economic efficiency
• Close cooperation with the responsible specialists from mechanics and control systems
• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, cost and schedule specifications
• Technical coordination and clarification of interfaces between different trades
• Coordination with areas such as construction, steel construction and external suppliers
• Examination and optimization of existing technical solutions
• Occasional carrying out of dimensional measurements directly on site

Profile

• Completed technical training, ideally as a design engineer, technician or comparable qualification
• Very good and routine knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience with 3D CAD programs and/or BIM is an advantage
• Ideally several years of experience in project planning or in plant engineering
• Good technical and spatial understanding
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• High sense of quality and responsibility
• Initiative and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Very good German skills
• English and/or French skills are an advantage
