Paraschool Employee Paraschool Employee Entry into function: as of the 2026 school year at our Mies site Activity rate: 57 % Schedules: 11:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) Our private bilingual school (French-English) La Découverte, located in Mies, welcomes children in a stimulating, demanding and caring environment. We give as much importance to academic learning as to the development of social, emotional and relational skills. To complete our educational team, we are looking for a paraschool collaborator who shares these values and wishes to contribute to offering children a secure, warm and conducive framework for their development. Your mission Within the educational team, you actively participate in the daily life of the school. You are notably led to: welcome children with availability and kindness; accompany meals and transition times; propose and lead fun, creative, sports or outdoor activities adapted to the age of the children; foster autonomy, cooperation and respect for each other; watch over the physical and emotional well-being and safety of students; contribute to a serene and positive climate; collaborate closely with the pedagogical team and management. Your profile You are a person: warm, dynamic and reliable; capable of setting a clear framework with kindness; appreciating teamwork and constructive communication; at ease in managing a group of children; creative, proactive and able to take initiatives; sensitive to the development of children's socio-emotional skills. Experience with primary-age children is necessary. Training in the fields of childhood, animation, education or social work is required. Knowledge of English is appreciated in the bilingual context of our establishment.
