Project Engineer Manufacturing

You will take over technical projects in plastic and composite material processing, from conception to implementation, including CAD design and process optimization.

Tasks

• Technical support for sales, purchasing and production as well as troubleshooting manufacturing problems
• Leading internal and external customer development projects with definition of milestones
• Introduction and continuous improvement of production processes to reduce scrap and lead times
• Planning and execution of mechanical, electrical and thermal tests on materials and components
• Creation of technical reports and documentation for customer and internal requirements
• Creation and maintenance of CAD drawings and 3D models for components, assemblies and tools
• Support in the implementation of management systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Profile

• Engineering education in mechanical engineering, production, industrial engineering or comparable, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Confident handling of CAD software and technical drawings
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production facilities and tools
• Experience in leading engineering projects and cross-departmental coordination
• Fluent German and English skills required
• Practical experience in measurement technology as well as mechanical, electrical and thermal laboratory tests
